Pegasus interference in privacy

Pegasus is spyware developed by the Israel NSO group. Pegasus is capable of reading text messages, tracking calls, collecting passwords, location tracking, accessing the target device's microphone and camera, and harvesting information from apps. once country access to it can do anything with spyware. It is not done or good for individuals too.

 

Amnesty international, Paris based journalism non profit, showed Identity targeted more than 300 people. India is also one of country, where the Indian Prime minister himself use this software to spy upon opponents parties and journalist. Which has been criticized by the opponent party. 

The problem is that Pegasus spyware can be a threat to the personal lives of people. like sometimes a person just say some terms which didn't mean, sometimes people freely chats or criticize government work and policies via chats and under this spyware one will be deprived of and a country with no criticizers itself is a threat on national security and democracy.

 Pegasus spyware itself bound journalists. Journalism somewhere linked to being Liberal and under surveillance journalism can not do free work. 

journalists in India and many other countries had to deal with these challenges of security as they don’t enjoy the same level of protection. “It’s a simple temptation for governments, people in charge to use this spyware to surveil on their enemies, political opponents, people, journalists anyone at all.

 

It is accepted that spyware help to find out militant in India but at the same hand, it should not be at cost of interference in privacy matter.

पेगासस इजरायल एनएसओ समूह द्वारा विकसित स्पाइवेयर है।  Pegasus टेक्स्ट मैसेज पढ़ने, कॉल्स को ट्रैक करने, पासवर्ड इकट्ठा करने, लोकेशन ट्रैकिंग, टारगेट डिवाइस के माइक्रोफोन और कैमरा को एक्सेस करने और ऐप्स से जानकारी हासिल करने में सक्षम है।  एक बार देश में इसकी पहुंच स्पाइवेयर के साथ कुछ भी कर सकती है।  


 एमनेस्टी इंटरनेशनल, पेरिस स्थित गैर-लाभकारी पत्रकारिता ने दिखाया कि आइडेंटिटी ने 300 से अधिक लोगों को लक्षित किया।  भारत भी उन देशों में से एक है, जहां भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री खुद इस सॉफ्टवेयर का इस्तेमाल विरोधियों और पत्रकारों की जासूसी करने के लिए करते हैं।  जिसकी विरोधी दल ने आलोचना की है।


 समस्या यह है कि पेगासस स्पाइवेयर लोगों के निजी जीवन के लिए खतरा हो सकता है।  जैसे कभी-कभी कोई व्यक्ति केवल कुछ शब्द कहता है जिसका अर्थ नहीं होता है, कभी-कभी लोग चैट के माध्यम से स्वतंत्र रूप से चैट करते हैं या सरकारी कार्यों और नीतियों की आलोचना करते हैं और इस स्पाइवेयर के तहत कोई भी वंचित हो जाएगा और बिना आलोचना वाला देश ही राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरा है।  .


  पेगासस स्पाइवेयर ही पत्रकारों को बाध्य करता है।  पत्रकारिता कहीं न कहीं लिबरल होने से जुड़ी हुई है और निगरानी में पत्रकारिता मुक्त कार्य नहीं कर सकती।

 भारत और कई अन्य देशों में पत्रकारों को सुरक्षा की इन चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ा क्योंकि उन्हें समान स्तर की सुरक्षा प्राप्त नहीं है।  "यह सरकारों, प्रभारी लोगों के लिए अपने दुश्मनों, राजनीतिक विरोधियों, लोगों, पत्रकारों किसी पर भी सर्वेक्षण करने के लिए इस स्पाइवेयर का उपयोग करने के लिए एक सरल प्रलोभन है।

यह स्वीकार किया जाता है कि स्पाइवेयर भारत में उग्रवादियों का पता लगाने में मदद करता है, लेकिन साथ ही, यह गोपनीयता के मामले में हस्तक्षेप की कीमत पर नहीं होना चाहिए।
